On June 30, 2016, NFC and Eurasian Resources Group formally signed the EPC contract of the RTR Project, which is divided into two phases. The Phase-I Project includes the 77,000 t/a cathode copper and 15,000 t/a cobalt, and the Phase-II Project includes the 105,000 t/a cathode copper and 22,000 t/a cobalt. NFC undertook the project financing, design, technical service, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning. The Project Department overcame many difficulties, quickly promoted the project progress, successfully delivered the Project within the contract period, put it into operation ahead of schedule, and obtained the C5 Certificate in 2023, creating good economic benefits.
